Venice

On Saturday Luisa, Camilla Leone and I went with their cousins Melissa & Vanya to Venice which was so much fun! It would have been better if it was like idk my momma and aunt ashlee and i....humm theres an idea for february?! ;) There are so many bridges duh city of water and they are all stairs so it was awful with the kids because they were both in strollers but luckily there was 4 older ones so basically one of us would stand at the front and pick up the bottom of the stroller while the other stood in back and lifted from the handles and we just carried these kids forever! But it was lots of fun and so pretty. We rode on a gondola which was freaking saweet, i dont understand how those men can maneuver those long boats down such skinny "streets"? ha idk. The only thing that sucked is that i was standing in line with sweatshirts(trust me they were super cute i even had one for myself) for the 3 little girls and bracelets and scarfs? scarves? eh whatever you know what i mean and some other little stuff to send back home and to the teeg but as i waiting in line i hear "AY-REE-KUH!" i turn around just in time to see luisa's head bobbing up in down as shes sprinting through this massive crowd of people as she's pushing a stroller in one hand and pointing to the train station with the other and yells "run run run it's leavin us!" so just my luck i had to drop everything and just book it. We were running like mad men trying to get to this train. We make it literally just in time, i grab camilla out of her stoller and jump in with her, melissa gets leone and they climb on, then vanya jumps on with one stroller and luisa is standing outside trying to fold up the stroller and its stuck so her cuzin says to get her body on board so if she has to she can just leave the stoller so she jumps on, gets the stroller closed up and right when she pulls it in, the doors shut. All of us were out of breath just standing there staring, it couldnt have been any closer, it was kinda fun :) I have over 150 pics of just venice so i just made a few collages from the ones i took on my phone and then theres regular ones....

 See Britter! On every bridge people have locks with their initials+the initials of whoever they love on it and once they lock the lock they throw the key in the river so that the lock can never be taken off...how cute haha! Its on pinterest :)

 This would be an american woman disciplining her kid haha cept she was crazy she was yelling so loud tellin him she would leave him there she was psycho.

 Camilla and i going into the center they have tonssss of pigeons and you can feed them, and if youre really brave you can let them land on you like the lady off of Home Alone.

 It is completely normal to see couples dancing in the square cuz there is a live band playing, or at macktown...like hard core making out just right there in the center haha its kinda funny.

Gondola ride and i thought it was funny how they hang their laundry  from house to house and just hope none of it falls into the water...

Top left is the last breath bridge...basically it connects the courthouse to the prison so they said thats the last breath of fresh air they got before being taken into the prison...you're supposed to make a wish when you go underneath it in a gondola too. Dont worry, i did :)

Leone update...see that goat, we literally sat like that for a good 40 minutes cuz he didnt want to leave. He is obsessed with cleaning....nice to have later in life  but seriously the little boy would rather play with the vacuum than go to the park. He will vacuum the house everyday, no joke. And he insists on carrying anything that i have to hold haha what a little man huh? he's too cute. 

Leone's new thing is to pretend he is mad and its so funny!! I love his little attitude. I also taught him gross but when i taught him how to say gross i had to act it out so he knew what i ment so i would stick out my tongue and say "blechhh... gross" now its all he does.

Camilla is obsessed with picking me flowers haha she does it everyday!And she always says feesh feeesh and makes me do a fish face, idk why. 

Whallllleeeee i hope you guys are enjoying conference....with loads and loads of ice cream and a chocolate fountain mmmmm i wish i was home! I still cant believe they changed the mission age gosh blew my mind. Derek i just thought of *poof poof, bam mind blown!* from my wisdom teeth videos hahaha gosh. I came home to so many people texting me and facebooking me telling me id be a great missionary and to come home, gosh i was so confused!! Still am and dont know quite what im gunna do but i do miss conference with the fam. Actually i just miss everything about church with the fam, just the feeling of having priesthood holders in our home and moms church music, and getting threatened to do dishes if we didnt wake up for scripture study and FHE and kooooten I KNOWWW you miss havin the privilage of driving me to church....sitting by me at church...writing notes to me at church.....loving every second of church with me :) haha need i go on cuz i can!! ha but i dont miss singles ward. nope! Im so excited tho cuz they are going to get their piano tuned for me because they've just been using it for picture decoration since she was little so it isnt even play-able, its awful but that should be fixed this week and then i can finally play some good music here, cant wait. We also had lunch just now with 2 of their cousins oh my gosh cornmeal?! first of all what the heck is that crap it was soooooo gross, took everything in me not to throw up. Actually throwing up just terrifies me but still, NASTY! And calf, this meat can literally be cut through like a fork cutting a pancake....thats weird right? it was so chewy, not a fan, so i had tons of potatos. Oh and rabbit, which was weird trying to eat cuz they all use a knife and a fork to try to get off every little piece but its a freakin rabbit hello its small enough already! Theyre like 2 inch bones with meat on them its impossible to cut off meat, so that ended fast. I really miss mexican food, they dont have much options here besides italian. America is so cool cuz we have every kind of food, here its like do you want pasta, pasta, or pasta?  Umm can i hear my options again please? ha geez its a good thing i like pasta and pizza or id be dead! "Heyyy Big gulps huh? Welp see ya later'' :)
